Kindle version almost impossible to use
The content of this book seems to be good, but my problem is that the kindle version has no table of contents, no index and no search function. It is therefore impossible to quickly find the section that you want or the topic you want - you have to page through the entire book until something useful appears. This is a fatal flaw for a reference book.

Just what I was looking for
This is a good book, with a fair and well formed assortment of mathematical resources, sepecifically some of the more difficult and common integrals that nobody wants to have to do. At least that's what I use it for. Came in good condition, so that was nice too.

Best math reference book for engineers & students
Are you an enginner that has not used any uper level math for a long time? Are you a student that wants book packed wrh all the math you will need? This is the book for you! The math in this book goes from trig to diff Eq to bessel tables and then some.

This book is wonderful for anyone pursuing a career in analytical sciences. It removes the need for a calculator completely. I didn't know so much could be crammed into something so little.

Great text, awful print quality
The writers' names (Adam Cooper, Tony Dodgins) as well as the photographers' (Steven Tee, Charles Coates, Glenn Dunbar, Lorenzo Bellanca, Andrew Ferraro) are a guarantee for the highest quality of all contents. Just as we got used to through the years in the case of the Official F1 Season Review book. Crying shame that the print quality doesn't match the contents at all. handy reference
good for those nagging little identies and theorms you never thought you would actually use.the intergral tables are useful for basic integration, but for advanced integration I would suggestion something else (namely Schaum's) to do the heavy lifting.

Helpfull little book
This Book is good for general to advance caluations in geometry to advanced calculus and differential equations. Help in Bussiness and other areas too. Very good book for engineers and physics to math majors!!

Handy little reference book.
I've had the 2nd edition of this book for about six years and I can't tell you how many times I have used it.When I was in college, it came in very handy with the tables of derivatives and integrals, along with all those trig identities.After I graduated and started working, it became a great reference for those geometry equations that you start to forget or methods for solving multiple equations.It's also compact, so it will easily fit in a briefcase or a drawer.I would definately recommend it to anyone looking for a good, quick, easy to use math reference.

Lacks some key formulas
Schaum's Mathematical Handbook of Formulas and Tables is slightly less portable but I found itto be more complete

Yummy!
I bought this book for the Margaritaville Jerk Salmon recipe.I made it today and it was so good!And 1/3 of the cost of going to restaurant!Thank you Todd Wilbur for making these excellent books!

Another hit from Wilbur

I own 3 other food books by Todd Wilbur and they are all great if you love to cook, and want to cook items that taste like the ones you go-out to get, for WAY less money. This book continues the journey of how to imitate the restaurant dishes you love, at home.

Great book!I have quite a few of Todd's books and they all have items in there that I make quite frequently!As for reviewers saying that these recipes are high in fat- well then learn how to cook!Most people who are watching their weight use recipes as a guide.Opt for a lower fat cheese, or bake an item instead of frying.This isn't rocket science!Also on another note- Todd faking food allergies to get ingredients... Apparently it is true, I did Google it, and I don't think that was too smart of him to do or publicly announce on Oprah, BUT with these clones of restaurant recipes he has in his books, those of us with real food allergies (I have Celiacs) I can still enjoy these recipes but substitute ingredients I can have.Soooooooo really, however Todd does it, I am glad he does, because I rarely get to enjoy restaurant food at a restaurant because of my allergy- now I can in my own home and, most importantly, rest assure the food is prepared in a allergy safe environment and gluten (or whatever you allergy may be) free!So think about that!Thank you Todd!Keep the recipes coming!

Top Secret Recipes is spot on perfect
This book gives me the way to make some of my favorite commercial dishes and have them come out as close to the real thing as is possible.

I'm a big fan of Todd Wilbur and love all of his books, including this one. I have tried the BJ's restuartant white cheddar mashed potatoes, and their avocado egg rolls. Both of the recipes came out really good. I have also tried the T.G.I. Friday's tuscan spinach dip and the crispy green bean fries. Once again those recipes were just as good as the restaurants....if not better!
My only suggestion is to visit [...] and view the table of contents before you purchase this book. A lot of recipes in here maybe a repeat if you own other books. If you purchased his recent book off of QVC then you'll see that a lot of the recipes in that book are in here. His website is: [...]. pretty basic
This is an educational book that provides the basic information of bipolar. It is very easy read. If you are knowledgeable of bipolar disorder, it isn't a book that you will gain much knowledge from.I wouldn't recommend it as their are numerous other books that cover this topic extensively.

This book is encouraging and gives you hope!
It's an easy read and the author helps you identify with another who is depressed. That helps you know you're not alone. I have purchased 2 other books for friends and gave my copy to someone to help them. I highly recommend.

Will help some people
The author and I agree philosophically that moderate to severe depression or bipolar disorder is probably best treated with medication.However, the lack of solid information about psychotherapy in this book is something I don't agree with.And the quality of writing isn't that great, either.Nonetheless, the author has a somewhat unique approach to treating mental illness that is worth hearing.Avery Z. Conner, author of "Fevers of the Mind".

This is a great book to read. It is very easy to understand. Once I started, I had to finish it that night. I lived with a person for 15 years that suffered from bi-polar-I wish I could have read this 15 years ago. I think the most important lesson that I got from this book is never give up trying. If you give up hope, then you have indeed lost. Bob Olson never gave up and now I hope others will benefit from his story. I highly recommend it.

I don't know Harry Reynolds' religion, but I'd like to put him up for sainthood here and now. This is the book that a small band of believers have been grousing about for 30-on years.This thick (270 pages), soft-bound volume is a scholarly history of a squirrelly subject: the wonderfully wacky world of those cantankerous little 500cc formula racing cars.

One year short of 60 summers down the road, Reynolds has written the definitive North American version of C.A.N. May's classic "Formula 3 A Record of 500 c.c. Racing".In fact, Reynolds' book takes off stateside in 1951, the final year covered in the May book about racing in England and the Continent.

This book overflows with hundreds of photos of the spindly single-seaters, an almost equal number of race results sheets, ancient adverts, esoteric marque info, and medieval maps of long-forgotten race courses (like Palm Beach Shores, Reno, Vineland, Paramount Ranch and a place called "Riverside" on which Sports Cars Illustrated had labeled T6 as: "blind man's bend").My rough guess is that at least half of the photos here are hitherto unpublished ... All of them are great fun.

Most know that Stirling Moss, Peter Collins and many other young British lions cut their teeth on Cooper FIII cars.This volume will remind readers that stateside shoes like John Fitch, Bruce Kessler, Elliott Forbes-Robinson, Phil Walters, and Sherwood Johnson all apprenticed in these one-cylinder "thumpers".

Post Script:Harry, who's a wry soul at heart, originally wanted this book's title to be "Break Like The Wind" an obscure ref. to an imaginary music album that wasto be recorded by an imaginary rock band in a fine film called "Spinal Tap".

Alas, the good folk at Icongrafix, who did not have an "11" on their amps rejected Harry's title in favor of (to their money-grubbing little minds) the prosaic one that it now bears.

The very same thing happened to late author Carroll Smith who wanted the final book in his essential "...To Win" series of motorsports techincal instruction bibles to be: "Screw to Win" a book about nuts, bolts and other critical race car fasteners and systems. He did not get that one either.

As someone once sang ... You can't always get what you want.Harry's book, regardless of the title is a v. good one for an in-depth look at a very quirky segment of American motorsports history. ... Read more
