T he Olympic Games: A Bibliography
Compiled by A. J. Veal and K. Toohey
Alison Burkhardt and Peter Haxton contributed to earlier versions of this bibliography. While this bibliography is extensive, with some 1400 entries, it is not claimed to be comprehensive. It is arranged in alphabetical order by author, with a separate section at the end listing official Games reports. The index below can be used to skip to the first reference beginning with particular letters of the alphabet. A search facility is also provided. To search the bibliography for a specific topic, type a search word in the space indicated and click - all the references containing the search word will be listed. Key words are appended to references, in [square brackets]. The original version of the bibliography, with some 600 entries, was published in printed format in 1995 (see Burkhardt et al ., 1995): copies of the original print version are still available from UTS, but there are at present no plans to produce an updated print version.

6:40PM, Sep 27 ITALY d AUSTRALIA 3-1
RUSSIA d CUBA 3-2
Resignation turned to suspense today, as the Australian men's volleyball team won a set against the world's best, Italy, for the first time in history. When Australia levelled the scores at one set all, the impossible - that the Olympic debutantes could humble the unbeaten favourites in the quarter-finals - suddenly seemed possible. It didn't happen. Italy will proceed to the medal rounds, after winning 3-1 while Australia will play classification matches for the lower rankings.

July 31, 2000 Sobo, Sobo, Sobo.... You suck. - 10:38:51 PM PST - Dark Timmy
I got an e-mail from Sobo:
I said that you don't use it, not that you don't have it.
[datafox] told me to post that. I personally don't care about your icq.
And everyone feels sad for
[coriolis] and [bob the racoon] since they're on your site. -Sobo Yes, I realized my error in syntax and corrected it. As for the rest of it. I wonder why you post thing that Bruce tells you to when you claim to be better than everyone else. And I feel sorry for bob and coriolis too, but until the oppurtunity comes for them to express their views on a quality website this one will have to do. Still, at least it's more effort than Sobo ever put out. Damn it Sobo - 7:17:19 PM PST - Dark Timmy In response to Sobo's Mad Ownage Post: You're never getting traded. Even if Mad Ownage got rid of you we wouldn't accept the trade. We'd take bidnessman before we took you, and I don't even know bidnessman, just his strange posts. On a personal note. I do use ICQ dumbass.
