Both republican and democratic parties seem to be more interested in fighting each other and hurting each other than actually adressing the problems of the nation. For example, with the homeland security bill that is about to be passed: it is being seen as a republican victory over democrats. No one is even talking about the actual consiquenses of governmental actions except what it does to the oposing party. During this most recent election, the two major governor candidates spent millions of dollars on campaigning, but what did they do, they spent allmost all of there time shooting slander at each other.
