Golf: Print Resources Golf: Video Resources Affordable Local Courses There is a funny line by actor Leslie Nielsen in his video Bad Golf Made Easier , which poked fun at golf instruction in both video and print format. The line is simply, "The only thing you can learn from golf books is that you can't learn anything from golf books, but you have to read an awful lot of them in order to find that out." The quote illustrates the sometime frustration golfers get from seeking out the best available instruction their finances will allow. Not everyone can afford a lesson from the club pro for $50$60 a pop. That is not to say there is not good golf instructional books out there. Below is a bibliography compiled from WebPAC , which is the online catalog service for Niagara County's public library system, Beacon , which is the online catalog service for the Buffalo and Erie County public libary, and BISON , which is the online catalog system for the University of Buffalo Libraries. In addition the author of this pathfinder has added some excellent golf books which will aid all golfers in the physical fitness area of golf, and injury prevention. Golf has the elusion of being a very passive sport but it does have a form of physical contact: your club hitting the ball. That act can put tremendous strain on a person's back. Note that some of the best golfers in the world all seem to have back ailments. When overviewing the print sources provided please do

The articles are written by some of the best known players on all three tours, and sometimes can give you an inside look at their lives on the tour. I completely recommend that you check them out and subscribe if you regularly visit Las Vegas or just want to read the best local type golf news magazine published. Do I sound biased ? Heck yes, - I have seen a lot of the other local type golf magazines. This one is printed on "slick" paper, not the newspaper type, just to give you a partial idea of the magazine. You may also reach them by telephone at 1-888-584-6533 (toll free). The subscription rates are very reasonable - $9.95 per year, and includes their "Guidebook to Golfing Las Vegas". Prince of Qin brings riveting tale of revenge to your PC
Montreal, Quebec. July 31st, 2002 – Publisher Strategy First and developer Object Software are pleased to announce that the action RPG Prince of Qin has gone gold.
“This title has been compared to Baldur’s Gate and Diablo,” says Pro Sotos, Product Manager for Strategy First. “It was definitely one of our most popular games at E3 this year so we’re eager to finally bring it to the public.”
"We are excited about the potential of Prince of Qin in North America," says Richard Wallis, Chief Executive Officer of Object Software. "We believe the title will give gamers a very different experience with its unique gameplay concepts and deep historical setting."
Prince of Qin is an action-RPG that blends fighting and strategic elements for an incredible voyage through the Qin Dynasty 2,200 years ago. Ancient China, a land of traditional ruins, historical dynasties and unparalleled beauty is the backdrop for this true story of an Emperor and his two sons who are locked in a bitter duel. When their father suddenly died, the younger son forged an edict ordering his brother Fu Su to commit suicide, leaving him in power. This is reality, but in Price of Qin players are in charge!

Bonita Bay Club head professional Bill Bower raised $11,776 for charity, part of $67,000 raised to help youngsters with substance abuse problems at The Vince Smith Center of Southwest Florida Addiction Services, as well as the PGA Art Soderholm Scholarship Fund and Junior Golf. Meredith Hearn/The Arizona Republic LPGA golfer Marcy Hart gets treatment in preparation for the upcoming season from trainer Steve Heller, one of the creators of the Fit 4 Golf program at the Westin Kierland Resort. When it comes to playing good golf, most pros have come to the realization that practice time on the driving range isn't nearly enough. Fitness, flexibility, training and nutrition also have become important factors, especially with the grind of a full season as golfers become more talented and more athletic by the day. Working all of that into a schedule is hard enough for the pros, let alone the average golfer, which is what instructors had in mind when they created their new "Fit 4 Golf" program at Westin Kierland in the northeast Valley.

Rob Schumacher/The Arizona Republic Annika Sorenstam (at a news conference Tuesday at Moon Valley Country Club) makes her 2003 debut this week. Three years ago, Annika Sorenstam was a golfer on a mission when she came to Tucson to start the LPGA Tour season. She had finished fourth on the money list the previous year as Karrie Webb left her and the rest of the tour in her wake. As she sat in a modest interview tent, Sorenstam made it clear that fourth, or even second, wasn't good enough. "I am going to be back on top," she said at the time, "and I will work seven days a week, 24 hours a day if I have to. When I first became No. 1 (in 1995), it happened so fast I didn't even expect it. But I found out I like being chased more than I like chasing."
