Recreational Activities ALL NEW! Hummer Driving Club Open year round, the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort Hummer Driving Club allows guests to drive a H2 Hummer on the tight trails and logging roads of Nemacolin. The explorations begin on the field test course which prepares participants for the numerous obstacles they will find on our course. Hold on tight because the H2 Hummer is made to do unique things and the Driving Club is solely designed to maximize the impressive off-road capabilities of the vehicle. Muddy ponds, precarious side slopes, steep inclines on our ski slopes, vertical ledges and vehicle recovery are experienced in the wooded terrain of the Laurel Highlands. By the end of your class, you will have learned that there definitely are no dead ends in Nemacolin's Driving Club. Be sure to check out the H2 retail shop located at Mystic Mountain, where you will find an array of Hummer gear, clothing and accessories. Each class is two hours in length and priced at $275 per vehicle, plus tax. If you're brave enough, additional hours may be purchased for only $100 per hour. Each vehicle can hold four people comfortably. For reservations or more information, please call the Adventure Center at 724-329-8555 ext. 6077.

The Yentna River offers many freshwater streams that are excellent for fishing for all species of Salmon
  • King Salmon season is open January 1st through July 13th. Due to hard water (meaning ice), we begin our fishing season in late May. Silver Salmon begin running up the Yentna River the last week of July and run through August.
Our experienced father/son guides know where the hot spots are. They prefer to fish in the smaller streams near the Lodge that are quiet and less crowded. If combat fishing is what you like, they can take you there also! We supply all fishing gear and tackle . Bait is available for Silver Salmon, but is not allowed for Kings-lures only. You are welcome to bring your favorite, lucky fishing gear if you like.
