John Dyer is a contemporary realist painter. He has exhibited his work regionally and nationally, and has won numerous awards in a variety of media. Now he works almost exclusively in oil on linen canvas. Dyer has always been intrigued by the wilderness. With strong ties to the Adirondacks dating from his youth, the lakes, woods and mountains provide inspiration for his life and work. In painting intimate portraits of nature he hopes to not only create a realistic depiction of what he sees, but also convey the state of mind he experiences in the places he paints. Dyer is also a portrait painter. He frequently places his subjects in landscapes or settings that evoke and extend the personalities he paints. His portraiture includes historical figures, such as Abraham Lincoln currently hanging in the New York State Capitol, and equine commissions, as well as individuals of all ages. Some more nice arcs... Again the center of these is seemingly hotter than the ends...?
Most of these exposures were 1 to 4 seconds. The first runs were made with the 2" secondary, and two new toroids from John Freau.
The toroids are beautiful! Smooth and classy. Here is a breakout to a ground rod. Producing about 8 inches of arc. Streamers at 7 inches.

LIMITED EDITIONS POSTERS Further Information and latest news about John Dyer John Dyer was born in Taunton in 1968. He completed a Foundation Art Course at Falmouth School of Art in 1987 and went on to gain a BA Hons Degree in Graphic Design at Middlesex Polytechnic in London, showing his final year work at the Smiths Gallery, Covent Garden. Whilst at Middlesex Polytechnic John won a prestigious Photography Bursary Award from Thames Television. This travelling Bursary was to travel to the Amazon Rainforest to make a photographic study of the remaining natural beauty to be found there using infrared black and white film. John made this unforgettable trip to Brazil in November of 1989 and two exhibitions were organised to show his work. Since graduating John has concentrated his time on painting. John is also a part time lecturer at Falmouth College of Arts. John's paintings are bold both in terms of imagery and colour. His palette has a mediterranean or caribbean feel with sunny yellows and deep turquoise sea blues. The paintings are very optimistic and are full of fun and happiness with more than just a touch of humour with imaginary animals and creatures used as recurrent themes. Colours are placed in large areas creating a base pattern on which the other elements are placed. Mixed exhibitions Royal Photographic Society, London

The 1999/2000 year again proved to be an extremely hectic one, with a large works program being undertaken, increased demand for most Council services in a growth environment, and Council elections being held in March 2000.
The organisation was able to meet these increased demands whilst retaining its focus on strategic planning, financial viability, and providing high levels of customer service.
Council’s financial performance is reflected in the 1999/2000 Budget and the Annual Statement of Accounts for the year ended 30 June 2000. Council was able to maintain and improve service levels, deliver a large capital works program, continue the reduction in the long term debt servicing rates, and keep rate increases to a minimum. The rate increase of 2.8% included 1.0% extra to be devoted to improving our local roads, yet the increase was again amongst the lowest in the State.
The Statement of Accounts for the year ended 30 June 2000 show a surplus of $910,000 on the Operating Statement and a Rate Determination Statement surplus of $1.6 million (which includes capital works carried forward of $940,000).
Major projects undertaken during the year included refurbishment of the Trafalgar Swimming Pool, major renovations to the West Gippsland Arts Centre, Stage 3 of the Warragul CBD townscape works, completion of the new Lardner transfer station, construction of the Hope Street roundabout in Drouin, car parking works in Yarragon, and various upgrades of parks and gardens throughout the Shire.

Instructor of Music John Dyer UMaine Recording Studio Info A native of Los Angeles, John Dyer built an impressive resume in music and recording technology before moving to Blue Hill, Maine, in 1994. After graduating from the University of Southern California with a major in music theory and a minor in piano performance, John began producing scores for movies and background music for television. One of the commercial spots using his music aired during a Super Bowl broadcast reaching tens of millions of viewers. He worked under Peter Aftermath of “Inaudible Productions,” a major Hollywood music supervision company, with such films as “Ghostbusters II,” “Honeymoon in Las Vegas,” and “Slingblade.” Originally recording most of his work at Telstar Sound in Burbank, Dyer later founded his own studio, “Unintentional Music.” In 1995, he completed a new recording studio overlooking First Pond, a freshwater lake two miles from Blue Hill Bay. “Unintentional Music’s” new Maine home houses a 32-track digital recording system based on a hard disk-editable capability. Since moving to Maine, John Dyer has worked with some of Maine’s best talent, as well as continuing his work through contacts on the West Coast. Recent clients include Yamaha Motorcycle Corp., Pathe Entertainment, Sharp Corp., Fidelity Investments, Bell Atlantic, Larry Coryell, Maria Muldau, and The Persuasions. He has also worked with many of Maine’s most talented artists, including Paul Sullivan, Kay Gardner, The Beatroots, Oliver Brighton, Ruby, Nancy Ogle and the Maine Composers Forum.

His peoms were collected by Dodsley in 1770, and by Mr Edward Thomas in 1903 fcr the Welsh Library, vol. iv. Sir Thomas Dymoke (1428?—1471) joined a Lancastrian rising in 1469, and, with his brother-in-law Richard, Lord Willoughby and Welles, was beheaded in 1471 by order of Edward IV. after he had been induced to leave sanctuary on a promise of personal safety. The estates were restored to his son Sir Robert Dymoke (d. 1546), champion at the coronations of Richard III., Henry VII. and Henry VIII., who distinguished himself at the siege of Tournai and became treasurer of the kingdom. His descendants acted as champions at successive coronations. Lewis Dymoke (d. 1820) put in an unsuccessful claim before the House of Lords for the barony of Marmion. His nephew Henry (1801—1865) was champion at the coronation of George IV. He was accompanied on that occasion by the duke of Wellington and Lord Howard of Effingham. Henry Dymoke was created a baronet; he was succeeded by his brother John, rector of Scrivelsby (1804—1873), whose son Henry Lionel died without

Auden's Prose
By John Berryman
The Dyer's Hand by W.H. Auden Random House, $7.50 Since many readers will be as pleased as this reviewer that Auden has put together a fat selection of his critical writings of recent years, and since it goes without saying that Auden's opinions are important because they are his, I want to look into the curious fact that he does not really sound like a professional critic and perhaps is not one. Perhaps he is too modest and too generous. These virtues shine again and again from these pages, and they are remarkable enough in one of the chief poets of the age, a man internationally celebrated now for thirty years, also a man known in his legend for a witty, savaging tongue, whereas here he several times refuses to exemplify a Bad Work on the ground that to do so would be "cruel." But probably a critic must take the moral risk and be tougher, for it is his job, among other things, to assert and to judge: to propagate the faith and only the faith. Worse still, he writes too well. His critical prose is not up to William Empson's or Edmund Wilson's, being even more informal than the one and less cunningly organized than the other; but that these names come up is tribute enough. (His imaginative prose, in
