Maps range from road and trail to topographical and political. Most of this collection is kept in the reference area but a selected few are available to circulate. Government and historic maps can be very useful for genealogical and/or general research. As in other collections, the emphasis is on representing Florida comprehensively. Property Information Customers frequently ask for specific information on a piece of property. To start a successful quest, it is necessary to at least know the name of the subdivision being searched. The Hillsborough County Property Records database available either online or CD can serve as a valuable guide for real estate purposes as well as to find properties shown on the Aerial, Plat and Zoning maps.
