Product Description
Labyrinths of Light is the bridging book to theseries. The theme of this book covers the few seconds thatJulian and Lord Merm are falling from the tunnel opening atthe Cavern of Three through the abyss, to the mighty PassRiver at the bottom of the abyss. It presents much more ofthe metaphysical, and philosophical content of the series. Itis here that the reader is given an insight into the power ofthe magical key, the Passwords, and an unusual dimensionalnotion of time and space is explored. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars It's unfortunate
I'm a little tired of reading wonderful reviews of self-published books--like this one. Mr. Munsey calls himself a best selling author. Where that came from, I don't knmow. Perhaps in his family he's a best selling author. It is, unfortunately, the consummate example of telling and not showing, of locomotive writing and head hopping I've ever seen. Mr. Munsey, I'm afraid, doesn't have a clue about how to create and build character, and he knows even less about punctuation. Mr. Munsey, my advice is this--take a workshop, or maybe twelve, and try again. I teach writing the novel--because I've been paid for my novels--and this book has become a how not to. Thanks.

5-0 out of 5 stars A GREAT FANTACY!!!!!!!!!
I really enjoyed this book. The characters were interesting, the plot gripping, and most of all, it was a pure delight to read.I couldn't put it down.Magic, conflict, the never ending struggle between good andevil...very "Tolkenesque."I highly recomend it to any fantacyfan.I hope they make it into a movie!

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty Darn Good
I happened to run into this book by accident. I was stopped by the authorwho was selling his books at a little stand in front of Coles in a littlemall near my house. He convinced me to purchase his book and told me if Iliked Tolkien's Hobit (and I did) then I would like his book. So I boughtit and he autographed it for me and I took it home and read it. It reallywas a wonderful example of a magical Tolkienistic fantasy set in a far offworld. It's your classic Guy Gavriel Kay (another excellent Canadianfantasy author) type story of an evil that's supressed for so long and thensuddenly unleashed for a new generation of heros to fight. The best partabout this book was that it wasn't too long. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars More of a thriller than a mystery
This book is more of a thriller than a mystery. I'm not a big fan of
thrillers, which is why I gave it a "2". There is very
little mystery. There is a lot of action, and this book might appeal
to fans of action-thrillers.

Characters in the book seemed a bit
shallow, but perhaps as you read other books in this series, you can
get to know the main characters better. Where this book lacks in
character development, it makes up in descriptions of Toronto
locations. With the detailed descriptions, you'll feel like you've
visited the same locations as the characters.
